Intake Coordinator

Title: Intake CoordinatorEmployment: Part time (3 days a week) / Fixed Term (6 months) Salary: $80,000 + Super + Salary Packaging
About the role
As our Intake Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for all our new client enquiries, guiding our valued NDIS clients through the process with empathy and efficiency. Your role will be crucial in understanding client needs, prioritising requests, and connecting individuals with their dream homes.
What You'll Do:

Provide a warm and positive experience for all intake enquiries via email and phone
Assist in scheduling tours and service trials for new clients and their care teams, ensuring they feel valued and supported
Attend expos and engage with external stakeholders to promote Able Australia and our exceptional services
Collect necessary client information and ensure it's effectively stored for easy access by our Intake panel
Maintain relationships with external providers to manage referrals and intake opportunities
Work closely with internal teams such as Operations and Marketing to ensure all service vacancies are effectively communicated across platforms

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

Previous experience in Intake or Disability support services.
Strong understanding of the NDIS, TAC, and/or similar funding packages
Knowledge of varying levels of disability
Sound understanding of the principles surrounding confidentiality and the rights & responsibilities of clients receiving NDIS funded services.
Strong customer service skills with an ability to meet individual response timelines
Excellent communication skills and a 'client-first' approach when dealings with new consumers and existing consumers.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal and external departments
Highly organised and able to utilise planning and organisational skills to manage competing priorities & problem solve for solutions to create "Better Days Every Day" for Able clients
Sound competence in use of CRM applications and (E.g. Carelink+) ability to follow processes
Ability to travel interstate to services and expos to build new networks and referral pathways is required
