Starting base annual salary $79,823 to $87,169 negotiable based on experience plus super, plus access to generous salary packaging options. About the opportunity: Are you passionate about supporting young people facing homelessness? At Uniting, we're not just offering a job—we're offering a chance to be part of something bigger. Our Doorways for Youth Program in Southwest Sydney (SWS) empowers young people aged 12-24 who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. As an Intake/Case Worker, you'll be the first welcoming face they see, the guiding voice they need, and the advocate who helps them find a path forward.
Be the first point of contact: Welcome clients to our Campbelltown Doorways Hub, offering warmth and understanding.Conduct intake assessments: Understand their needs and connect them with tailored support.Provide compassionate casework: Assist with housing applications, crisis support, and referrals to critical services.Build strong relationships: Collaborate with housing providers, youth mental health services, and community partners to ensure holistic care.Advocate for change: Be a voice for young people facing injustice and help shape a future where no youth faces homelessness alone.Your Qualifications & Experience To succeed in this role, you will have:
