We are currently recruiting a passionate Intake Assessment Administration Officer to provide administration support to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Aged Care team, in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards.

Our Offer Permanent full-time (38 hours/week).Salary of $71,364 p.a. plus 11% superannuation.Salary packaging (up to $15,899 per year) plus meal and entertainment cards.Vibrant and fun-loving team.Paid shutdown leave on standard working days between Christmas and New Year.15 days paid personal leave per annum for full & part time employees (pro rata for part-time).12 weeks paid parental leave.Study leave opportunities.Ongoing professional development and a supportive team environment.National EAP Service.About the role Provide general administrative tasks to NDIS and Aged Care team that supports with NDIS and CHSP (Commonwealth Home Support programme), and other aged care services, including supporting the intake and review processes.Provide administration support by responding to general enquiries via phone and email.Support quality services to meet the needs of ageing people and/or people with a disability in a kind and professional manner.Embed a Reablement approach in service delivery to build on individuals' strengths and goals, with the objective of fostering greater independence and, where possible, less reliance on care services.Assist in billing enquiries, counting any financial contributions from service users, record and deposit amounts when required.Experience and Qualifications Relevant certificate and/or relevant experience.Sound communication (both oral and written) and good interpersonal skills to be able to interact positively with a variety of people and to communicate clearly with service users.Demonstrated ability to provide sensitive and appropriate support to peoplewho are ageing and/or have a disability.Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft suite and case management systems.Demonstrated understanding of professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality.To be eligible for employment, you must also have an ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card, working rights in Australia, and be willing to undertake background checks required for the position.
