Possession of a relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology or Behavioural Sciences.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of working in a client triage and/or intake service, including the ability to undertake risk assessments relating to suicidal ideation, domestic and family violence and child protection concerns with the ability to liaise with other agencies to ensure client safety.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work effectively to network and collaborate with a wide range of professionals, both internal and external, for the purpose of creating the most effective referral pathways.
An understanding of relevant legislation, effective service delivery models and the ability to work within such frameworks.
Highly developed organisational, time management and administrative skills along with competency in a range of computer applications including word, excel and publisher.
Current open driver licence.
Current, and ability to retain, both a Working with Children Blue Card check and Disability Worker Screening
