About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Insurance Specialist will lead all renewal and ongoing management activities relating to the organisation's insurance coverage.
The Insurance Specialist will partner with brokers, internal stakeholders, and key business leaders to identify, develop and present proposals for coverage of CleanCo's asset portfolio, including new renewable energy projects.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with the flexibility to work from the Brisbane office or from home.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Minimum Bachelor qualification in finance, business, law, accounting or a similar discipline. Exceptional working knowledge of the insurance renewal and claim processes, and the application of risk management principles, practices and methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage an insurance program for a large complex entity. Strong commercial decision making – an ability to use business knowledge to provide advice that balances business objectives and risks. Strong analytical skills, particularly in identifying potential issues and scenarios. Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Must be able to work independently, manage projects and manage competing priorities within relevant deadlines. Insurance experience within a similar sector desirable.
