Join Our Team as an Insurance Operations Specialist!
Are you an experienced insurance professional looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Specialist to enhance our operational efficiency and improve member insurance outcomes. In this pivotal role, you will focus on transitioning our operations to a digital-first future state model.
What you'll be doing: Monitor and optimize insurance operations processes to drive efficiency. Provide expert guidance and coaching to team members on insurance product administration. Oversee the resolution of insurance incidents. Support management in day-to-day insurance activities and business rule adherence. Act as the subject matter expert for projects involving insurance touchpoints. Collaborate with partners to implement changes to business rules. Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to uplift processes and services. About You: 5+ years' experience in life insurance (Group or Retail) at insurer, administrator or superannuation Trustee with demonstrated success in a similar role. Strong knowledge of group insurance, including death cover, income protection, and TPD. Experience with incidents, transitions, or SFT, and corporate-sponsored super plans. Proven ability in stakeholder management and interacting with senior leaders. Willingness to challenge and question the status quo. Understanding of the latest insurance standards, legislation, and regulations. Change management experience. Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration experience. Proven track record in operationalizing insurance product and legislative changes. Experience in a fast-paced, changing environment.
