The Team
OurInsurance & Health team is headed up by 33 industry leading principalsacross six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is knownfor producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service.The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for thebiggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for anexperienced Legal Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis in Brisbane. This role will support lawyers at varied levels who specialise in HealthLaw. Duties of this role will include:
file management – opening/closing files and filing/e-filing; monthly billing and reporting; adhering to client service standards; brief preparation; diary and travel management including booking appointments; and general LA and secretarial support. AboutYou
This rolewill suit a candidate with the following:
previous experience in defendant insurance litigation (ideally health law); experience using precedent, billing and file management programs; enthusiastic and proactive approach to work; strong communication skills; and ability to build strong internal relationships. The Benefits
