This position focuses exclusively on defendant work and offers substantial exposure to litigation. It's a unique opportunity to collaborate with an outstanding team who are expert in the field and engage deeply with a diverse range of cases, About the Role:Collaborate with Experts: Work directly with top experts in their field and a close-knit team of senior practitioners.Engage in Diverse Matters: Handle a broad spectrum of cases, gaining invaluable experience in both simple and intricate issues.Develop Key Skills: Master legal research, draft critical court documents and submissions, correspond with opposing parties, inspect and analyse materials, and prepare for hearings.Learn and Grow: Interpret medical reports, analyse evidence, and develop strategies to advance your career in litigation and beyond.Additional Responsibilities: Draft requests for particulars (both liability and quantum), court documents, and submissions to the Personal Injury Commission. Draft letters of instruction to investigators for factual reports. Prepare summaries and evidence for hearings, attend court, including pre-trial and status conferences, interlocutory and directions hearings, and prepare for and instruct Counsel.About You:Experience: 4 years + PQE.
