About the Role This is a Fixed Term Position until July 2025 Reporting to the Director, Flood Recovery Operations, you will be responsible for coordinating insurance and Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement claims for natural disaster events emanating from Victoria's Road network recovery from the October 2022 flood and storm event, and subsequent events. The role will assist in the implementation of a clear process for the undertaking of insurance claims on behalf of the Transport Service group. This role will work closely with various internal stakeholders and external agencies.
To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and influencing skills, adept at fostering partnerships with diverse stakeholders. They will excel in process management, overseeing property insurance lifecycles. Their communication skills will include drafting various documents, financial reporting, and engaging with government structures. They will provide expertise to support DTP's strategic activities, identifying and managing potential reputation risks. Further, they will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
