The opportunity: Join our dynamic Insurance Claims team in Melbourne and become an integral part of our mission to deliver exceptional service to Hostplus members and claimants.
As an Insurance Claims Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to manage end-to-end claims processes, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in service excellence.
You will also contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our claims operations, helping to reduce complaints and enhance overall performance.
About you: You bring significant experience in claims administration and case management, with a specific focus on handling Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD), Income Protection (IP), and Permanent Incapacity claims.Your proactive approach ensures strong relationships are built and maintained with stakeholders, fostering an environment of trust and collaboration.With a comprehensive understanding of superannuation and life insurance products, you navigate complex situations with confidence and expertise.Your adept negotiation and problem-solving skills enable you to effectively manage escalated situations, ensuring resolutions are reached promptly and professionally.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, allow you to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, fostering understanding and trust with claimants.You have a proven track record of contributing to operational efficiency and effectiveness, consistently meeting and exceeding performance targets.Your ability to manage declined claims and complaints demonstrates your commitment to providing a positive claim experience and driving continuous improvement.Committed to personal and professional development, you actively seek opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.What can we offer you?
