Insurance Broker – New Business – General InsuranceExcellent base and monthly incentivesHybrid role – work from home and the officeInsurance Broker Aon is looking for candidates with General, Business or Underwriting Insurance experience who have a passion for new business, outstanding client service and progressing their insurance career.
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home and from our Aon office.

The Opportunity This is an exciting time to join our successful, new business team which is redefining how organisations and clients deal with insurance online.
Using first class digital platforms, you will be provided with 'hot' leads to follow up.

Your Responsibilities Achieve personal and team sales targets on small to moderate size accountsWork towards KPI's and targetsConvert 'hot' leads into salesWork with 'hot' leads through several channels such as instant messaging, email and inbound/outbound phone callsAdvocate for clients through best practice insurer negotiations to achieve the best outcomePartner with internal and external stakeholders to achieve high client outcomesProvide outstanding customer service and exceed client expectationsUse Salesforce as your main platformMulti-task whilst navigating a range of technologiesBuild relationships with a variety of insurance clientsAbout You You will be joining a team that is known for meeting their monthly targets.

Our ideal candidate will relate to the following:
Experience in general insurance, sales, new business, client relationship management or Underwriting (highly regarded)Insurance Broking experience (highly regarded)RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Broking (preferred) or willingness to obtainExperience with Bus Packs, Marine, Commercial Motor, Liability and alterationsSome experience managing a renewal portfolio of transactional SME business (highly regarded)Understanding of the insurance life cycleUnderstanding of debtor management and insurance compliance requirementsStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to build strong partner relationshipsRelevant technical and product knowledge (required)Experience working in a highly regulated industry (preferred)Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs (highly regarded)Sales approach and ability to make a connection with clients (highly regarded)Comfortable using multiple systems including Salesforce, CRM, MS Excel and OutlookHow we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
