Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Drum Tutor to offer individual and group lessons ranging from Prep -Year 12, and ensembles. Currently, the position is for approximately 2-3 hours of teaching per week. We anticipate that the load for this role has the potential to grow as our overall music program continues to develop.
Working during school term time only, with additional time as required, this position will commence in Term 1, 2025.
The Instrumental Music Tutor will play a crucial role in providing high-quality music education to students. Responsibilities for this position include:
Delivering engaging and effective instrumental music lessons to students.Implementing comprehensive music programs that align with the school's curriculum and educational goals.Assessing the progress of students and providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.Collaborating with other music educators to create cohesive learning experiences for students.Participating in school events, performances, and competitions related to instrumental music.Maintaining musical instruments and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.The Instrumental Music Tutor should have a passion for music education, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students in their musical journey.
