The Position We are seekingan experienced teacher of Fluteto join our music team from 30 January 2025. This itinerant position may involve teaching in the Year 5 Instrumental Program as well as some private instrumental tuition and requires availability on a Tuesday.
There is the possibility to conduct/direct small and large ensembles. Applicants with a passion for, and skills in, conducting and directing concert bands and jazz combos are highly encouraged to apply.
You must have a current Employee Working with Children Check. A VIT registered teacher is preferred, but not essential.
The purpose of this role is to tutor individual or group instrumental sessions as part of the Trinity Music program. Instrumental Music Tutors are also involved in a range of other possible activities such as ensemble work, classroom Music, directing or conducting small chamber groups or large ensembles and assisting with the preparation of various music performances throughout the year. This role also requires Instrumental Music Tutors to maintain accurate record keeping practices and conduct assessment and reporting in accordance with policy and protocols.
