RoleAn education support class position at this range will perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction. This may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities - Instrumental Music
Deliver instruction in the Instrumental Music Program to students individually and/or in small groups.Prepare and arrange sheet music and plan appropriate repertoire for student lessons.Assist and prepare students for instrumental concerts, performances, official school events, and productions.Inspect and maintain instruments to ensure they are in good working order.Assist with administration in the Instrumental Music Program.Complete reports on student progress in the program.Assist with creating student Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) as necessary.Prepare students for AMEB examinations, where appropriate.Other duties as directed by the Principal.The Instrumental Music / Inclusion Support Aide will demonstrate outstanding support skills, comply with College & DE policies and procedures, and maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
