Part Time – 40 hours per fortnight available An exciting opportunity exists within our CSSD for an Instrument Technician to join our team on a part time basis. We are seeking Instrument Technicians who have any level of qualification and amount of experience, including those interested in a change of career and willing to complete education and training as an Instrument Technician. We have up to 40 hours per fortnight available.
The successful applicant will work with other technicians in the provision of patient support services and maintaining a high quality of patient care through the preparation, sterilisation and delivery/distribution of equipment to our customers. Flexibility is required to be able to work a rotating roster and some weekend shifts (no night shift is required).

We are looking for applicants with the following skills/experience/knowledge; Required: Strong verbal and written communications skills Experience working as a part of a team Able to work in all areas of CSSD Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation or equivalent Previous experience in a similar position. Knowledge of occupation Health & safety requirements. IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (3 doses) and Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
