Job Responsibilities You will be responsible for:
Providing support to the Company's Operating Assets to achieve safe, efficient and optimum operation Acting as the Technical Focal Point for Instrument and Control Design modifications associated with the Operating Assets Providing discipline expertise and technical guidance for the day-to-day operation of instrumentation and third-party packages Supporting completion of assigned Engineering Operations Assurance plan tasks Providing instrument and control support during facility shutdowns Participating in or leading incident investigations Identifying and justifying future work programs/improvements and ensuring their inclusion in the facility budgets Supporting revalidation of HAZOP/LOPA/AOA reviews Supporting preparation of simple, non-complex and complex software change requests (SCR) Introduction On behalf of our client, a World Leader within the Energy / Oil & Gas industry, Brunel is presently sourcing an Instrument and Controls Engineer for a 12 month contract located in their Corporate Perth CBD offices (with regular site travel requirements - 1-2 weeks per month).
Essential Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
An Engineering degree in either Electrical OR Instrumentation Engineering TUV or Equivalent Functional Safety Engineer Technical Professional within discipline with project and operations experience Ability to organise and/or carry out hands-on technical evaluations in own sphere Expertise in coordinating projects and activities and fostering team awareness Ability to manage intercultural group sensitivities Confident communication skills with internal and external bodies on Company technical issues Strong planning, organisation and time management skills Highly motivated Verifiable performance and delivery in positions of technical authority Benefits Opportunity to work with this World Leading Oil & Gas Energy Company!
