About the role
We're looking for a qualified and accomplished Instrument & Electrical Tradesperson to join our team, where you'll be instrumental in maintaining the reliability of our production operations.

In this role, you will:
Be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our instrument and electrical equipment, ensuring our production runs smoothly and safely.
Be hands-on with everything from front-line maintenance during breakdowns to leading shutdown projects.
Bring your technical expertise and leadership to oversee maintenance schedules, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality, on time, and within budget.
Be involved in dynamic project work that plays a vital role in extending the lifespan of operations, including the installation and commissioning of new systems.
Our operations run 24/7, which means you will be included in a call-out roster for breakdowns as necessary and will have the flexibility to modify your work hours accordingly.
A mandatory trade qualification and a recognized license in Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines and a Certificate IV in EEHA.
A grade unrestricted Electrical Worker Licence.
It will also be advantageous to have the following HRW licence: High Voltage Switching Operations, EWP and Forklift, Working at Heights, Work in Confined Space and LVR/CPR.
A minimum of 2 years of industry experience, preferably in the oil, gas, or chemical sector.
Familiarity with hazardous area requirements.
Proficient in DCS and PLC Systems (Emerson DeltaV and Allen Bradley) and Protocols including Fieldbus and HART.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs.
Awareness of workplace health and safety regulations.
Solid work ethic and team work focus.
Genuine belief in a "safety first" culture.
Capable of mentoring and guiding others while sharing expertise.
