Instructor Ii - Preschool

The District of Saanich is seeking casual Preschool Instructors at Saanich Commonwealth Place. The successful candidates will be responsible for the instruction of Preschool Programs for children aged 3-5 years old and/or Parent and Tot Programs including Kindergym. Preschool Instructors also ensure that participants are acting in accordance with the facility rules and that the facility and equipment are in safe, working condition.
The ideal candidates will possess strong communication and organizational skills in providing direct instruction, leadership, and program management of Preschool Programs. This includes developing the class content and course outline, delivering clear and enthusiastic feedback to course participants, preparing the room and equipment necessary for instruction prior to the start of the session and storing it safely following the end of class, and maintaining accurate attendance records.
The successful candidates will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and/or Sunday mornings from approximately 9am to 12pm, up to a maximum of 5.5 hours per week. These hours are subject to change based on program requirements.
