Food and Beverage Instructor This position is responsible for operational planning and service of food and beverage across both the campus and hotel for the students and operational needs of the business while upholding a hands on training environment and ensuring WH&S and Hygiene SOPs are kept at high standard.
The Food & Beverage Instructor is responsible for conducting practical training and supervision and provide feedback on student's progress and assessments within the live food & beverage environment.
The students are to gain clearly outlined food & beverage skills and an appreciation of how to collaborate within the overarching Food & Beverage team.

Reporting to the Operations and Applied Training Director you will join a team of passionate staff who are playing their part in making sure that we are here to deliver an outstanding learning experience for students.
On a typical day in this role you will: Work with and maintain a "best practice" approach to Food and Beverage Department operations Ensure all guests and students are provided with 5-star customer service meeting and exceeding industry standards Ensure students, staff and other guests are provided with meals as required by the program and the needs of the business to the standards set Be actively involved in learning and teaching outcomes through quality delivery in all applied training areas, ensuring students benefit positively from their food & beverage experience Participate in the delivery of any internal or external functions at the campus Work collaboratively with the Operations and Applied Training Director, the Executive Chef and other members of the team to facilitate continuous improvement of product and service We are recruiting for multiple Full-Time Permanent opportunities, based at our Leura Campus in the beautiful Blue Mountains Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

To be successful in the Food and Beverage Instructor position you will have: Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent Demonstrated high level supervisory skills within the hospitality industry Demonstrated strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering high quality service Strong communication skills and the ability to readily build relationships Pro-active and highly motivated with demonstrated ability to work within a team Well-organised with the ability to prioritise and work consistently in a fast-paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and Restaurant Point of Sale Systems Fluent in English (verbal and written) Want to know more?
