About The Role As an Instructional Designer you will deliver learning pathways for users of our product to get the most out of Lumary. This includes both the building of content, the strategising and planning of pathways, and participation on longer-term roadmap towards learning & certification excellence. The dominant focus and the end-goal of the role is always that our customers can succeed and wherever possible the end-users can be directly empowered. A day in the life Design, develop, and update engaging learning content, including video, e-learning modules, and interactive exercises.Use Camtasia (or similar software) to produce high-quality videos that meet instructional design standards.Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Product Leads and Product Designers/Researchers to understand the product and the sectors we serve and the personas within those sectors.Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to implement and manage product adoption tools that enhance the learner experience.Drive the rapid development of foundational product learning content and pathways, with a strong focus on frameworks and systems rooted in adult learning principles.Provide support and training on product tools, ensuring users have a seamless experience.Evaluate the effectiveness of the e-learning and product adoption tool workflows we produce and recommend updates or improvements based on learner feedback.You will draw upon continually produced "raw material" (support articles and release notes) built by product teams as they release - as a starting point for your understanding and subsequent work.Enabling customers/users with learning materials that are both specific to a need and formed into wider learning journeys and later certification paths.Own the product learning resources and experiences (e.g. online learning resources such as Lumary videos, practical exercises and live sessions with consultants).Support the teams by guiding and steering the roadmap of pragmatic rapid build-out of initial product learning content and pathways - both the framework/systems.About you Proficiency in Camtasia (or similar video production tools) and experience in creating and updating instructional videos.Content creation experience for engaging software product learning.Understands eLearning, product-enablement strategies and can deliver value within an enterprise product context.Understands learning as a field, including Adult Learning approaches and thus is able to set a thoughtful longer-term roadmap.Able to thoughtfully set and report on success-measures over time.Understands SaaS product companies and the role of learning within these as part of the total product and as a vital component of adoption, delight and customer-success.Has experience of rolling out learning for software systems for end-users - ideally in a product context.Prior experience working in a similar role supporting customers with product training.A Bachelor's Degree in Learning or User Experience Design or similar is valued but not required.You Are Willing To Be vulnerable, make mistakes and share your learnings openly so others can learn too.Work in a scale-up environment where uncertainty and ambiguity is expected and normal.Meet us where we are but also inspired and energised to contribute to our growth.Hold yourself accountable to getting things done in a self-organising team environment where we are all responsible for energising our roles and bringing the purpose of our role's to life.You Value Going above and beyond to deliver value because you care about bringing about positive outcomes.Self-awareness in others and yourself, sharing and relating to others on a personal level at work.Your personal values being reflected in your employers values - Lumary's values:- We 'Lead with an open heart' assuming positive intent and being courageous.
