Workplace Training & Assessment (Education & Training)Strategium is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer (preferably with Health sector experience) to join our team. This is a contracted Darwin role with the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the company. Location of work Darwin initially then remote work would be suitable. If not Darwin-based, then travel is required as part of the role.What you'll be doingDesign, develop and deliver engaging interactive online learning courses, content and materials via digital eLearning environments and the established content approval processes.Develop high quality, graphically consistent and professionally designed online learning resources including demonstration and animation videos and concept graphics using software simulation tools e.g. ADOBE Captivate, Articulate 360 Storyline or similar.Develop detailed storyboards, templates, and resources to enable the production of solutions (classroom, eLearning, video etc.).Build knowledge and skills within the Business teams on the development, editing and ongoing management of the support materials including the management and updates of all training assets in document repositories.Develop Trainer manuals, rubrics and other teaching tools and coach Trainers in how to use learning technologies as required.Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop course content.What we're looking for3-5 years' experience in a similar role e.g. developing learning resources (software simulation/screencasts, video-based learning, technical webinars, virtual classrooms, e-learning courses, instructor-led courses or Help articles and technical user guides).Proven ability to integrate adult learning theory and instructional design methodology into an appropriate mix of delivery media.Experience and skills in online learning development and associated technologies (e.g. SCORM; Learning Management Systems, Camtasia, Articulate 360).Highly developed writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail when it comes to grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency and adherence to an organisation's documentation standards.Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple concurrent tasks, dealing with competing pressures, multiple stakeholders, unplanned change and meeting tight timeframes.Familiarity with Help authoring tools e.g. Madcap Flare or similar.Qualifications in Instructional Design or Training & Assessment and/or Technical Writing, Content Development is desirable.Adaptable and self-managing, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.High level interpersonal communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain networks and relate to stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.Ability to work in a large team environment with members of diverse cultures and backgrounds.Self-starter with high personal drive and a positive attitude.Disciplined and accountable for delivering and maintaining work products.Behaves in a respectful and professional manner, maintaining high integrity and transparency when delivering work.Excellent problem solver and critical thinker.Promotes teamwork and collaboration by engaging stakeholders and team members.What we offerCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Opportunities for career development and ongoing training.Flexible work arrangements and a focus on work-life balance.Comprehensive health and wellness initiatives.A collaborative and supportive team environment.Travel may be required.About usStrategium-Act Pty Ltd is a leading professional services firm.
