Workplace Training & Assessment (Education & Training) Strategium is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer (preferably with Health sector experience) to join our team.
This is a contracted Darwin role with the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the company.
Location of work Darwin initially then remote work would be suitable.
If not Darwin-based, then travel is required as part of the role.
What you'll be doing Design, develop and deliver engaging interactive online learning courses, content and materials via digital eLearning environments and the established content approval processes.Develop high quality, graphically consistent and professionally designed online learning resources including demonstration and animation videos and concept graphics using software simulation tools e.g.
ADOBE Captivate, Articulate 360 Storyline or similar.Develop detailed storyboards, templates, and resources to enable the production of solutions (classroom, eLearning, video etc.
).Build knowledge and skills within the Business teams on the development, editing and ongoing management of the support materials including the management and updates of all training assets in document repositories.Develop Trainer manuals, rubrics and other teaching tools and coach Trainers in how to use learning technologies as required.Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to develop course content.What we're looking for 3-5 years' experience in a similar role e.g.
developing learning resources (software simulation/screencasts, video-based learning, technical webinars, virtual classrooms, e-learning courses, instructor-led courses or Help articles and technical user guides).Proven ability to integrate adult learning theory and instructional design methodology into an appropriate mix of delivery media.Experience and skills in online learning development and associated technologies (e.g.
SCORM; Learning Management Systems, Camtasia, Articulate 360).Highly developed writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail when it comes to grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency and adherence to an organisation's documentation standards.Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple concurrent tasks, dealing with competing pressures, multiple stakeholders, unplanned change and meeting tight timeframes.Familiarity with Help authoring tools e.g.
