About the Business Unit: The Transformation, Development and Capability business unit is responsible for transformation and learning and development to support employees. The Advisor, Learning and Capability is a member of the Department of Justice and Community Safety within People, Safety, Culture and Communications team.
About the Role: Operating as part of the Learning & Capability (Youth Justice) Team, the Instructional Design Specialist is responsible for course consultancy and design in creating effective and engaging learning environments informed by desired learning outcomes.
Some of your duties will include: Scoping, designing and evaluating learning programs for Youth Justice, including facilitation guides, train the trainer processes, first-person competent processes, eLearns, videos etc.Building and maintaining positive relationships with staff, peers, leaders, and executives within Youth Justice, as well as with external stakeholders.Collaborating with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to design learning solutions, utilising contemporary practices like co-design.About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
Expertise in applying instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, and experiential learning theory.Strong expertise in online learning platforms, including proficiency in Articulate and Articulate Rise.Extensive experience in project management of learning products and use of project management tools.Strong stakeholder management skills to engage and manage business leaders and subject matter experts.How to Apply: Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
