DescriptionDesigns and implements library instruction and information literacy efforts for all levels of classes; develops and promotes services for students using a variety of media; collaborates with other librarians to coordinate library marketing and outreach materials.
Designs, implements, promotes, and assesses library-related instruction to both undergraduate and graduate classes; selects appropriate delivery methods, including written, oral, visual, and online.Promotes and improves knowledge of instruction design and technology to instructors and students as it pertains to library and research skills.Collaborates with other librarians to coordinate library instruction, information literacy, and outreach efforts through materials and events.Develops and maintains awareness of scholarly communication initiatives across the disciplines.Provides reference services at the main reference desk.Participates in collection development in assigned subject area.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Minimum EducationMaster's degree in library science from an ALA accredited program.
Minimum Experience2 years' related experience, 2 years library experience in higher education preferred.
