We are looking for an installer assistant to help install, repair and maintain products sold and manufactured by Country Blinds.
You will be supplied all tools, work mainly in the Adelaide area, and you will be partnered with an experienced Installer Technician. Your duties will include travelling to customers' homes or place of business, assisting to install indoor and outdoor window furnishing, café blinds and shade structures, and fixing existing on-site product issues.
To ensure your success as an installation assistant, you should have sound knowledge of how to use hand tools such as a drill, impact driver and angle grinder. You must be able to climb ladders and occasionally work in confined spaces, have great customer service skills and take great pride in the work that you deliver. Salary will be discussed in your interview and commensurate to your experience, skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:Travelling to customers' homes or place of business.Assisting with installing indoor and outdoor window furnishings, cafe blinds and shade structures.Running customers through operation and maintenance instructions for each product once installation is concluded.Helping to resolve installation problems and report product issues.Maintaining existing product.Cleaning up after the job is complete.Being responsible for maintaining company supplied tools.A good understanding of how hand tools are operated.The ability to read plans and carry out work as specified on a job sheet.Minimum 1 year work experience in a practical trade style workplace.Provide superb customer service and have a great attitude.Work alongside an experienced technician, and contribute to a positive team environment.Ability to climb ladders, to crouch, kneel and work in confined areas for short periods of time.Able to lift heavy objects (above 30kg).Safety is our first priority at Country Blinds: Whether their work takes them into a factory, out on the road, into homes or businesses, the safety of our team members is our number 1 priority at Country Blinds.
