Job Description: As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our senior team members in managing a diverse portfolio of insolvency cases.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, including corporate and personal insolvency, receiverships, liquidations, and voluntary administrations.
Key Responsibilities: - Assisting senior team members in managing insolvency cases from start to finish - Conducting financial analysis and preparing reports on the financial position of insolvent entities - Assisting with the preparation of statutory reports, including creditor reports and declaration of solvency - Liaising with stakeholders, including creditors, directors, and other professionals involved in the insolvency process - Participating in meetings and discussions with clients and providing sound advice on insolvency matters - Assisting with the preparation of court documents and attending court hearings - Assisting with the realization of assets and distribution of funds to stakeholders - Keeping up-to-date with changes in insolvency legislation and regulations - Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the firm Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insolvency or related field - Strong understanding of insolvency legislation and regulations - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software - CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) is preferred but not essential What our client offers: - Competitive salary package - Opportunities for career progression and professional development - Supportive and collaborative work environment - Exposure to a variety of insolvency assignments - Work-life balance and flexible working arrangements If you are a motivated and driven individual with a passion for insolvency and a desire to grow your career in this field, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
