We have partnered with a leading boutique insolvency firm headquartered in Canberra and a sister office in Melbourne. Established in 2021 by experienced former mid-tier practitioners, the firm is looking to capitalise on its outstanding performance and growth by engaging experienced players who see themselves as successors and future leaders. You can expect to work across whole-of-matter engagements (no pigeon-holing) in a diverse practice that includes engagements in advisory, turnaround and restructuring, corporate insolvency, and forensics.
About the Role: Applying appropriate controls to client engagementsAssisting in the preparation of the budgets and cash flowsPreparing draft reports to lenders and creditorsCompiling information, drawing conclusions and making recommendationsBuilding and developing relationships with clients, including promoting the business restructuring offeringEnsuring all working papers are accurate and files are maintained in an appropriate mannerEnsuring investigations are completed and any identified contraventions are reported on a timely basisThe Ideal Candidate: Minimum 2 years of experience working directly in Australian insolvency practiceBachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting or Commerce/LawCA/CPA complete or nearing completionARITA qualification and membership highly desirableHave excellent communication skills and personal presentationStrong willingness to learn, personal drive and passion for insolvency'Can-do' attitude and aspiration to grow a career in insolvency practiceBenefits on Offer: Salary of $85,000 to $100,000 plus superannuationHybrid working arrangementsCollaborative working environmentOpen-plan officeLearn from experienced leaders with 25+ years' experienceSocial drinks and lunchesInclusive and diverseShortlisting will begin once applications are received.
