About the role: The Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) is essential in supporting customers by identifying their needs and providing customized solutions, with a strong emphasis on pricing strategies. The role is designed to enhance customer retention and maximize sales opportunities.
The ISS works closely with outside sales, customer service, product management, and technical teams to ensure that proposals not only meet customer specifications but also align with JCI's pricing standards and quality benchmarks.
How you will do it: Provide comprehensive pricing support to customers, addressing inquiries and preparing accurate quotes and estimates tailored to their needs.Develop and present competitive pricing quotations, ensuring clarity and alignment with customer expectations.Conduct in-depth pricing analysis to support customer proposals and identify opportunities for competitive pricing adjustments.Engage with customers and partners via phone and email, focusing on pricing-related discussions to enhance satisfaction and retention.Handle customer inquiries related to pricing, providing prompt follow-up on quotations and pricing requests.Work with sales and teams to share insights on pricing strategies and competitive landscape..Prepare and arrange necessary documentation for pricing proposals, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible.Follow-Up: Monitor and follow up on quotes, particularly regarding pricing updates and adjustments.
