As a distribution partner, the relationship with our principals is the key to our success.Reporting to an Account Manager- Beauty and Personal Care, our new Inside Sales/Sales Support employee will manage an assigned group of customers to achieve & exceed a designated sales Gross Profit Target as well as provide Sales Support to the Account Manager on specific assigned key accounts.Location: Multiple positions in Sydney and Melbourne.ResponsibilitiesManage customers directly to service the current base, increase and develop the sales portfolio to achieve Sales Gross Profit Targets.Initiate and develop customer account strategies, based on existing and future customer requirements.Identify and develop new customers.Handle new material requests, pricing, and quoting.Assist customer service with new enquiries.Maintain regular customer contact to ensure products and service levels are meeting customer needs.Continually promote new product lines as they become available.Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints.Assist the Credit Department with credit applications, credit limits for new and existing customers, and information on potential doubtful debts.Review margins of all transactions related to your customer base.Assist with budget and business plan preparations, inventory holdings, and movements.Maintain all data in company CRM (Salesforce) and meet agreed call plan targets (customer call reports).About YouQualification: Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field, or extensive experience in the industry.Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is essential, with medium to high proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to ERP systems. Familiarity with JD Edwards would put you a step above the rest, but is not required.Well-developed communication skills: You will be communicating and building relationships across all levels within and outside IMCD.A can-do attitude: Our values are central to all that we do.
