Our opportunity As Innovation Specialist, you will be a key contributor and ambassador for Hatch, Mirvac's innovation team. They support Innovation Leads in delivering complex projects and are responsible for designing and implementing capability-building initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to help uncover, develop, and execute innovation and continuous improvement opportunities. In this role you will be: Working with stakeholders across Mirvac to proactively drive and embed innovation at MirvacAssisting in the development and implementation of Hatch's strategySupporting Hatch Innovation Leads in delivering complex innovation projectsLeading the delivery of small to medium innovation projectsProviding research to support Innovation initiatives (e.g. trends, stimulus, desktop research, etc.)Leading the delivery of customer scans, ideations, and experimentsScoping, preparing, and facilitating innovation workshopsAssisting Innovation Leads in defining execution plans for innovations and supporting their deliveryDesigning and delivering new Hatch capability-building initiativesProactively contributing to improving our innovation process and methodologyContributing to the preparation and delivery of Leadership presentationsCoordinating Hatch reportingOther ad hoc duties as requiredYour point of difference To be successful, you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and hands-on experience delivering innovation projects within a corporate environment. You will have demonstrated experience in human-centred design and have organised and facilitated workshops. Experience with continuous improvement and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology is desirable. You are a creative thinker with strong commercial acumen, and the ability to understand business drivers and make decisions that support strategic objectives. You have excellent consultation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with groups who have diverse and sometimes competing interests. Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written, are a must. Prior experience in the property sector is desirable but not essential.
