The Role
As an Innovation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and driving various projects and initiatives within the organisation.
Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and fostering a culture of innovation to ensure the success of innovation initiatives.
Duties / Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Leadership Assist with the development and implementation of firm strategies and goals.Identify and evaluate new opportunities for innovation and growth.Ensure innovation initiatives are aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for the firm.Lead and mentor team members to foster an environment of creativity and collaboration.Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the successful delivery of innovation projects. Innovation and Ideation Gather and analyse requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.Conduct process mapping to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.Plan and facilitate stakeholder workshops to generate innovative ideas and solutions. Project Management and Execution Work with key stakeholders to plan, schedule, and execute innovation projects.Track and measure the benefits of innovation projects to ensure they deliver value.Develop business cases to justify the investment in innovation initiatives.Provide regular status reports, updates, or communication on project activities. Community and Stakeholder Engagement Encourage the adoption of innovation products and gather valuable feedback to identify improvement opportunities.Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions to gather insights, feedback, and opportunities for growth. Team Collaboration and Coherence Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.Encourage creative thinking and innovative ideas.Coordinate regular meetings and training sessions.Identify and implement process improvements.Foster collaboration with other teams and departments. Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, project management, or a related field.Has previous experience in delivering projects within complex organizations.Knowledgeable in various innovation and project delivery methodologies and approaches.Comfortable with financial reporting, business case development, and benefits tracking.Proficient in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.Proficient in facilitating workshops, conducting training sessions, or leading ideation sessions.Skilled in translating feedback into robust requirements.Possesses a strong understanding of digital technologies and industry trends.Highly organized and proficient in multi-tasking.Adaptable to ambiguity, evolving processes, and changing priorities.Demonstrates strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.Committed to achieving quality outcomes and providing exceptional user experiences.Demonstrates strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience in leading and developing teams.Previous experience within a professional services firm or an innovation or transformation team is highly desirable.
