Could you be our next Injury Management Consultant? In this role you will proactively manage injuries end to end by providing Return to Work coordination duties to the business. Be the go-to person in our business when there is a worker injury and managing RTW barriers as they arise whilst implementing appropriate strategies to address these.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis? Providing strategic & technical injury management advice to Restaurants and Management. Maintaining regular contact with all stakeholders, in line with service standards, ensuring they are consulted as part of the RTW & Injury management process, informed of all key legislative developments and aware of their obligations. Providing technical support to maintain & optimise self-insurance performance and best practice. Ensuring data is maintained through correct data entry. Ensuring privacy standards are maintained. Supporting the Injury Management function in the administration of case management with tasks including processing wage and settlement payments to workers, finalising claims, and preparing claim documentation for legal and medico-legal examinations. Assisting the worker and employer with the claim process and provide support in the completion of relevant documents to ensure timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery. Developing, monitoring and updating Return to Work Plans to achieve positive Return to Work (RTW) goals. Your keys to success: Demonstrated experience with RTW and initial claims management. Knowledge of employee relations / workplace safety. Understanding of WC legislation and self-insurance requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail. Advanced organisational and planning skills. Well-developed problem solving and decision-making skills. Strong customer service ethic.
