Sydney Salary $120k + Super, hybrid working environment based in Gosford 6 months Fixed term contract, 3 days a week in Gosford for training. Flexibility to work from other icare offices 2 days a week and 1 day in Gosford About the Role Provide expert advice and guidance to resolve a range of injury management related issues and a variety of complex claims across multiple portfolios, including Uninsured Liabilities & Emergency Rescue Services Volunteers.

Provide operational direction to the review and development of workplace injury management practices and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of return to work strategies. Provide advice and recommendations to management on injury management including any changes to treatment regimes that may have an impact on scheme costing. Develop and implement procedures relating to injury management including policy documentation, updating systems and monitoring effectiveness. Complete training for the team in relation to areas of need regarding injury management, policy implementation or legislative changes relating to injury management. Provide guidance, coaching and advice to a range of Case Managers to support development and ensure business objectives are met. Support the implementation of injury management review systems and programs to enhance return to work outcomes and to achieve business objectives. Foster and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of strategic programs to improve injury management. Lead, manage and implement projects to address specific elements of injury management to achieve project deliverables and contribute to achieving improved scheme outcomes. Engage with and foster key external relationships to ensure effective engagement with the icare business model. Develop and apply medical and health related strategies into a claim's setting to enhance management outcomes. Interpret and apply regulations and guidelines as they relate to injury management and whole person impairment to ensure compliance and that the most effective approaches are adopted. Skills & Experience Comprehensive understanding of workers insurance combined with a solid understanding on workplace injury management processes and the regulatory environment. Minimum of 3 (three) years' experience in an Allied-Health and/or Medical role or demonstrated industry experience Extensive experience in the insurance industry, health services or injury management combined with experience in balancing commercial objectives with regulatory requirements.
