The purpose of this role is to support the Claims team by providing up-to-date technical guidance and injury management support on the Insurance for NSW scheme. The Insurance for NSW Scheme provides a range of insurance cover and services for participating Government agencies such as NSW Police, Fire & Rescue NSW and Department of Health.
This will be permanent , full-time position based in the Tweed Office, with flexibility to work from home.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Providing technical support to claims teams about the claims management process in line with the applicable legislation Reviewing and providing feedback about current claims management practices and procedures ensuring emerging trends are identified and managed Provide specialist Injury Management coaching and one on one support to team members regarding claims management strategy and treatment approvals In conjunction with the Team Leader identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures Building and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders ABOUT YOU Strong experience within workers compensation Experience in managing relationships and competing stakeholder priorities. Passionate about coaching and supporting others Strong understanding of the Workers Compensation legislation, and the associated regulations and guidelines WHAT WE OFFER We stand together as equals.
