We readily implement new practices and procedures, such as the Sanctuary Model of Care, which actively promotes emotional, social, moral, and physical well-being for both our staff and clients.About the opportunityIFYS has a new opportunity for an Injury Management Coordinator to join our People & Culture Team.Reporting to the Health, Safety & Environment Manager, this role is responsible for the coordination of injury management services for IFYS employees with work related and non-work-related injuries across a geographically dispersed organisation.This role will also assist in improving safety more broadly and assist in projects and identifying areas to improve IFYS' safety culture.What's on offer?Permanent full-time role$85,000 per annum + superNot-for-profit salary packaging optionsAbility to work from home (up to two days per week) after training period is completedFree access to the CALM Premium AppAccess to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Responsibilities of the role:Provide support and guidance to managers and employees in supporting injured employees.Reviewing safety data to identify and implement measures to improve IFYS' safety culture.Manage workers compensation claims, including communication with insurer, Workcover QLD and injured employees.Work with treating medical practitioners, internal stakeholders and the injured employee to develop, monitor and review suitable duties plans.Assist in incident investigation.Requirements for the role:Previous injury management experienceReturn to Work Coordinator Certificate (desirable)Knowledge of the Queensland workers compensation system and associated legislationStrong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsMust hold or be willing to obtain if successful:QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)National Crime Check (A new check will be completed through IFYS systems)If you would like further information on this role please call
