As a responsive leader, you will lead a small, experienced team in delivering occupational health, rehabilitation, and workers' compensation services within a self-insured environment. This role offers the chance to work with a highly complex and diverse workforce, implement industry best practices, review and improve business processes, and collaborate with the wider People and Culture department to drive positive outcomes. You'll be a valuable member of the People and Culture leadership team, contributing to the overall success of our people-related strategies.

Conditions of Employment include: Possible rostered on-call work LET'S DESCRIBE YOU We're looking for someone who's not only experienced but also passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives. You have a solid background in injury management and understand the ins and outs of regulatory and legal obligations, including SafeWork NSW, SIRA, and other authorities. You're comfortable managing complex physical and psychological workers' compensation claims and know how to recommend workplace modifications that lead to successful rehabilitation.
Along with the full list of essential criteria within the Position Statement, applicants will require the following:
Degree in Rehabilitation, Work Health and Safety, Human Resource Management or another allied health discipline, or equivalent relevant qualifications and experience. SIRA return to work coordinator training, or the ability to acquire it. Demonstrated extensive experience in interpreting and applying workers compensation and case management legislation and understanding of medical and legal terminology related to injury management, including the ability to work with legal advisors.
