About the opportunity IFYS has a new opportunity for an Injury Management Coordinator to join our People & Culture Team. Reporting to the Health, Safety & Environment Manager, this role is responsible for the coordination of injury management services for IFYS employees with work related and non-work-related injuries across a geographically dispersed organisation. This role will also assist in improving safety more broadly and assist in projects and identifying areas to improve IFYS' safety culture.

Reviewing safety data to identify and implement measures to improve IFYS' safety culture. Manage workers compensation claims, including communication with insurer, Workcover QLD and injured employees. Work with treating medical practitioners, internal stakeholders and the injured employee to develop, monitor and review suitable duties plans. Assist in incident investigation. Requirements for the role: Previous injury management experience Return to Work Coordinator Certificate (desirable) Knowledge of the Queensland workers compensation system and associated legislation Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful: QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card) Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2) National Crime Check (A new check will be completed through IFYS systems) If you would like further information on this role or would like to talk to a Recruitment Officer, please call 0428 230 369 and ask to speak to Tahlia in the Recruitment team.
