Reporting to the HSE Business Partner, this role will lead the effective management of injury / illness cases as well as identifying and contributing to the introduction of preventative strategies, policies and mechanisms. Key responsibilities for this position include:Overseeing all aspects of injury/illness management and workers' compensation from end-to-end (across VIC, NSW, QLD and SA)Providing proactive coaching and support to managersEnsuring all claims are managed effectively and in line with the Ridley systems and policiesDriving the RTW strategy and provide guidance and support to site based RTW co-ordinatorsAssisting and educating Ridley personnel on RTW strategiesProactively liaising with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, on fitness for work matters to ensure productive and positive outcomesAdopting an early intervention philosophy to manage fitness for work in partnership with line managers and HRDriving continuous improvement and preventative initiatives across the businessThe key skills required for this role include:Thorough understanding of Australian workers' compensation legislationStrong case management skills including a demonstrated ability to lead difficult conversationsExceptional skills in relationship management on all levels and strong influencing skillsDemonstrated maturity, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills and active listening skillsAbility to coach and influence stakeholdersTeam orientated and results focusedExcellent numerical and recording skillsStrong Microsoft suite and Outlook skillsAbility to maintain the utmost confidentialityEffective time managementExperience in managing fitness for work cases (desirable)How to applyIf this is you, please click apply now and provide your CV/resume.
