Job DescriptionDowner is seeking an Injury Management Advisor, based in our Collins Street Office, Melbourne. As an individual working within a high-performing national team you will support Downer's Injury Management process andassist in the day-to-day claims management. This will be achieved through collaboration and ensuring compliance for successful return to work outcomes.
ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Manager - Injury Management the role will have several focus areas:
Strategic management of injuries and claims portfolioProviding timely support and advice in relation to injury management and return to workMaintaining regular appropriate contact with key stake holders including workers and business representativesAssist with providing coaching and training for line managers, supervisorsand the safety teamPayroll processing and payment of weekly paymentsABOUT YOU: 3+ years' experience in Claims and Injury Management IndustryKnowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislationAllied Health Background highly regardedDevelopment and drive of injury management initiativesHigh level of analytical and numeracy skillsDeveloping suitable duties/ return to work plansStrong communication and time management skillsActively contributes to the teamOpen to learningDowner offers employees a range of career support programs, wellbeing packages and financial benefits, available through us and our selected partners, including:
