About the Role As an Initiative Lead in our Banker Digital Experience Tribe, you will be managing a technical team responsible for the decommissioning of the iKnow Asia CRM platform. The key deliverable of this program is building a solution for data storage and archiving and working towards the final decommission of the asset and physical servers. The purpose of the Banker Digital Experience Tribe is to enable our Bankers to deliver great service to customers through intelligent, integrated tools and processes. Bankers will become advocates of the solutions they use, reflecting the fact that we put our frontline teams at the centre of everything we do. The Banker Digital Experience Tribe (BDX) consists of 4 key Product Areas: Retail, Commercial, Enterprise, and Service Enablement. Our product owners and Initiative Leads have the passion to execute change and support assets from across all our banker assets. Role Type: 10-month Fixed Term contract Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 Work Hours: Full-time What will your day look like? As an Initiative Lead, you will be responsible for the following: Voice of the customer – Must continually engage with the customer and stakeholders to ensure the squad is working on the right things and represents what is valuable to the customer. Storyteller – Go beyond the mechanics of chopping up a user story into the product backlog and tells the story that nicely ties together the why, the customer need, and the vision. Mobiliser – Ability to rally and mobilize informal groups of people around focused tasks and stories. Knowledge broker – Enable collaboration and empower the Squad by finding the right people for them to talk to. Navigate the wider organization to engage the appropriate Tribes/Tech Areas required for the Initiative. Accountable for maintaining visibility of progress and concerns and ensuring informed intervention can occur when required. Collaborate closely with Portfolio/Product Area Leads to onboard new pieces of work, as well as provide regular feedback on progress and key risks/decisions. Understand the key benefit drivers for work to assist in coordination and sequencing decisions with Tribes/Tech Areas. Provide support to planning, especially where complex dependencies or prioritization needs to be considered. Stakeholder management and reporting (of planned outcomes) across a broad range of stakeholders within Tech Area/Tribe and broader organisation. Management of delivery plans, budgets, and resource profiles related to the project. Risk and Issue Management for timely delivery of the project. Release and Technical Change Management as per ANZ Delivery Framework. Act as single point of contact and escalation. Act as the accountable party for spend against the agreed Initiative budget. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Strong leadership skills, continuous improvement mindset, and strategic mindset to develop and drive the team's roadmap and prioritisation. Previous Technical Release Lead Delivery experience within a complex agile environment, working collaboratively with leaders, squads, and product owners. Excellent communication skills which will enable you to coach and uplift staff with this skillset. Excellent Stakeholder Engagement skills. Able to meet and communicate with Senior leaders to maintain transparency and deliver outcomes for both the stakeholder and bankers. Effective planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to make hard decisions on prioritisation. Effective risk and governance management skills, with the ability to identify, articulate, mitigate, and manage both delivery and operational risks ensuring the knowledge management material remains current. Understanding of the Commercial and Retail Banking landscape. Flexibility to evolve with changing business and technology priorities. Extensive experience in Business Change Management would be highly regarded. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
