Ingredients Account Manager - NPD & SalesOur client is a global leader in the plant-based ingredients space, selling into the nutraceuticals, skincare, food, and drink markets.The Role:We are seeking a dynamic, technically proficient Account Manager to manage the sales division for our Hemp and Australian Native Superfood ingredients. This hybrid role blends sales, business development, marketing, and new product development, allowing you to work closely with health and wellness, and mainstream brands entering the "better for you" space, to drive growth and innovation. You will be key in identifying new business opportunities, delivering creative solutions, and managing ongoing client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Drive sales growth by developing and executing strategies to expand market share for hemp and Australian native superfood ingredients.Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities to integrate ingredients into their product portfolios and enhance their offerings.Create tailored presentations that highlight the functional and creative potential of our ingredients, using market trends and insights to engage marketing and sales teams in the food, health, and pharmaceutical industries.Provide expert technical support to customers, helping them conceptualise and launch new products using our ingredients. Address enquiries related to ingredient functionality, sourcing, production processes, and regulatory compliance.Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, marketing, and operations teams to optimise product offerings and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.Stay ahead of industry trends and market dynamics. Leverage these insights to inform business strategy, identify new growth opportunities, and position our ingredients effectively in the market.Your Profile:A background in Nutrition, Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is beneficial.Proven success in NPD, marketing, sales, and/or business development within the food, pharmaceutical, or health sectors. The drinks sector is a key growth area, so experience in this space will be a bonus!Strength in forecasting and owning numbers, working with brands to ensure accuracy of forecast and working with the operations team to ensure availability.A strong understanding of ingredient sourcing, production processes, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.A natural ability to "sell the dream"—you can envision how our ingredients will elevate customers' product portfolios and articulate these ideas effectively to brand teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building rapport, persuading stakeholders, being commercially savvy, and engaging clients at all levels.Strong ability to analyse market data, identify business opportunities, and develop actionable plans to drive growth.
