In addition to our success as a leading contract manufacturer, Hellay Australia specializes in the distribution of high-quality ingredients for the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care industries.
As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ingredients Sales Manager to join our team.
To continue to drive our business forward, we are seeking a driven and energetic Ingredients Sales Manager.
This critical role is responsible for the overall supply chain management, including vendor scheduling to meet production requirements, sourcing of materials, and achieving best pricing and supply conditions.
As the Ingredients Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and personal care industries.
You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with clients.
Your key accountabilities include:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and Australia-wide clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Manage the day-to-day supply chain including liaising with suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, 3PL.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery, and superior customer service.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and presentations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to management.
Your key attributes will be:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Science field an advantage.
• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the food or pharma ingredients industry.
• Strong understanding of food manufacturing processes and ingredients.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software packages.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
The successful candidate will be offered an attractive salary package for this part time position which is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
