Located only five minutes' drive from downtown Byron, you'll be close enough to the action, yet far enough away to feel like you can truly unwind.

About the Role
As Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide a high level of customer service to our guests while maintaining the grounds of the park, including a vast array of amenities.
You will also coach, train, and mentor the Grounds and Maintenance team to ensure high standards are maintained.

Responsibilities
Maintain all public open space areas to a high standard as indicated on the site plan.
Ensure that all works carried out by Grounds & Maintenance are completed to a high-quality standard and in accordance with instructions.
Maintain garden beds including pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, and hedging as required.
Maintain lawns and plants.
Manage the site budget allocated to grounds and maintenance and ensure remain within budget.
Maintenance and general repairs in relation to guest and resident accommodation.
Regularly check and attend to general repairs to all public open space areas as required.
Respond and assess permanent resident queries and escalate to relevant trades if required.
Advise the Manager of any significant financial pressures and strains put on the site as a result of budgetary limitations.
Ensure rubbish bins are collected and emptied.
Clean and maintain the pool and pool area in accordance with procedures (if applicable).
Arrange and administer all repairs and/or maintenance of tools and equipment.
Ensure there is a maintenance register in place to record equipment servicing and repairs.
At all times exercise and maintain the highest respect for the residents, guests and employees.
About You
Demonstrated experience in a grounds/maintenance role.
Full 'C' class drivers license.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction to other staff.
Excellent customer service skills and teamwork.
Availability to work weekends.
