About the Role
With a number of exciting projects and developments in the pipeline, our Finance team at Ingenia is looking for a Development Accountant to provide support to the Finance team by business partnering with our Development Managers to assist with project accounting, financial management, budgeting and forecasting.
Key Accountabilities Preparation of the month end accounting processes including monthly accruals, journals and balance sheet reconciliations as required. Completion of the bank account reconciliation and journals associated with deposits, sales and settlements on a weekly basis. Review of settlement statements for sale of manufactured homes. Prepare commissions calculations on a fortnightly basis for payment in line with settlements and commission terms. Work with the Finance team to prepare the audit file to support financial statements and disclosures. Assist in preparation of the annual budget. Assist in preparation of quarterly feasibility review. Upload and validate capex budgets in JDE. Review of project cost coding allocations. Assist in the tracking of project cashflows compared to Budget and Forecast. Assist the Development and Sales team in the purchase order process and queries. Managing system administration of projects including job setup, DOA and budgets. Assist development and sales in any ad-hoc finance requirements including process improvements. About You University Degree Qualification. You have commenced, or completed your CA/CPA Qualification. Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with financial modelling desirable. Experience with JDE or large ERP system desirable. Takes ownership and initiative in all responsibilities. Awareness of Australian Accounting Standards / AIFRS. Can communicate questions and issues succinctly and in a timely manner. Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid paced environment.
