This incorporates design, implementation, security & support of (amongst others) cloud, platforms, compute, storage, networks, data centres, workplace (desktop, laptop, mobile) etc...
IT Infrastructure have an opening for an Infrastructure Solution Architect to join our highly engaged team based in Sydney.
This role requires a mix of architecture, design, strategic planning & business acumen skills.
As Infrastructure Solution Architect, you will work closely with the other IT teams to solution, design & align to business requirements; you should be a decision taker who is keen to balance risk, time, functionality & cost to deliver flexible & secure architectures.
Top Role Accountabilities: Provide technical design, architecture & support services to Rabobank's IT Systems & IT Infrastructure business lines for cloud, network, storage, compute, virtualisation, platforms, containerisation, database, integration, middleware, DevOps Pipelines/IaaC & associated components.Coordinate development efforts between IT Infrastructure & IT Systems technical/domain specialists, providing consistent & efficient solutions in line with the strategic architectural direction.Participate in the development & maintenance of the long-term strategy & architecture of IT Infrastructure & Banking systems direction for Rabobank Australia & New Zealand Group (RANZG).Development & maintenance of architecture standards, technical design, procedures & documentation.Drive & assist with Life Cycle upgrades, & rationalisation exercises.Create project status reports & accurately track & manage project issues & risks.Set up complex technical custom designs for strategically relevant IT solutions.Safeguard software quality & avoid technical debt.Peer review on architectural level.Develop proposals & draw up business cases for the optimisation/development of IT solutions.Initiate & finalise project start architecture documents.Actively contribute in communities across teams (multi-disciplinary communities platform related).Liaise & manage relationships with 3rd parties vendors & suppliers as necessary.Provide technical guidance/advice/support to colleagues.Other duties as required. Skills & Experience 5+ years demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect role.5+ years' experience in IT infrastructure platform design, development, & support.Advanced knowledge & experience working with a variety of technologies including server operating systems, cloud providers, platforms, networking, storage, database, middleware, virtualisation, containerisation, DevOps Pipelines/IaaC & associated components in a complex environment.An ability to understand all IT components & incorporate them into Infrastructure & Network Designs.Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills.Good planning & organisational skills, in particular around cross team & department coordination & collaboration.Organisational skills, initiative, self-motivation & a strong customer focus.Online banking & payments environments preferred.Experience with major public cloud platforms such as MS Azure preferred.
