As the Infrastructure Services and Solutions Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of Warrigal's IT infrastructure, including networking, hosting, end user computing, and security.
In this position, you will collaborate with various teams to develop robust systems, ensure compliance with security standards, and provide essential technical support to our staff.
This is a 12-month contract role, offering full-time hours.
To be successful you will need: Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Technology, or substantial relevant experience in IT infrastructure and systems Strong practical knowledge of best practice frameworks, including project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2) and IT Service Management (ITSM). Proven experience in building and managing reliable, secure wired and wireless networks to support corporate and specialised functions. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and Amazon Web Services. Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows services, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Intune. Familiarity with technologies including thin-client devices, VOIP telephony, printing solutions, and Office 365 (including Teams and SharePoint). Understanding of cyber security principles, with demonstrated experience in implementing technical controls. Strong problem-solving abilities and skills in troubleshooting IT and systems issues effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, listening, and presentation), along with a proven ability to collaborate and provide customer-focused solutions. Experience in supervising consultants and external contractors, taking ownership of system design and approvals. Valid NSW driver's license and willingness to travel to various Warrigal locations as needed.
