Job Opportunity: The company has an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Specialist and Scrum Coordinator to work closely with the General Manager in designing, implementing, and maintaining the application deployment infrastructure while also facilitating agile development processes.
Position Overview: They are looking for a motivated and driven professional to design, install, configure, and maintain infrastructure components for application deployment, leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.). The successful candidate will manage application operations, including troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and incident resolution to a high standard.
Core Responsibilities: Implement and oversee continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) systems to ensure seamless deployment processes. Facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Facilitate agile principles and practices. Remove impediments to team progress and protect the team from external distractions. Gather user feedback and translate it into actionable development tickets. Provide coding assistance to the development team as required. Assist in resolving critical technical issues. Work within a growing, agile development team with the capacity and capability to deliver on the company's strategy. Candidate Requirements: The company seeks an individual with a high level of personal drive and resilience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and influencing skills coupled with a high level of integrity and a continuous improvement mindset. They should have over two years of IT infrastructure and support experience with a certification in agile methodologies (CSM, PSM, etc.). Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS or Azure) and the ability to assist with coding to the development team is also required.
