Infrastructure Manager, Project Planning
Full-time Permanent Excellent Remuneration package which may include an Attraction and Retention Incentive Diverse and rewarding role Flexible working including hybrid office/home arrangements As a designated Project, the Northside Hospital Project team will be leading the design development and delivery of the new Northside Canberra Hospital in Bruce.
To acknowledge the Territory's increasing demand for healthcare services due to the growing and aging population, ACT Government has funded the New Northside Hospital at Bruce. This will replace the ageing facilities at Calvary hospital in Bruce and presents a significant opportunity to improve the delivery of healthcare Territory-wide, in partnership with the community, clinicians and healthcare providers.
The Infrastructure Manager, Project Planning is one of the key high performing roles within the Northside Hospital Project team and is responsible, in liaison with the Executive Branch Manager and the Project Director, for the execution of strategic planning deliverables across the project design and delivery.
The role requires working collaboratively and building strategic relationships with peak ACT industry bodies and government officials, including Ministers, the Northside Hospital Project Board, and other stakeholders associated with the project.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
Mandatory:
Positions classified as Infrastructure Manager/Specialist require the occupant to hold recognised qualifications and/or experience in one or more of the following fields:
Professional qualifications and experience are defined as:
1.Engineering - a four-year degree or higher qualification accredited by Engineers Australia or Professionals Australia for recognition as a Professional Engineer,
including recognition of equivalent overseas Engineering qualifications, and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in Engineering; or
2.Architecture - a three-year degree or higher qualification accredited by an Australian State or Territory architecture authority for recognition as a Professional
Architect, including recognition of equivalent overseas qualifications, and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in Architecture; or
3.Project Management – either:
a. a diploma in Project Management accredited by an Australian State or Territory tertiary education institution or an equivalent overseas qualification that is eligible for reciprocal recognition in Australia and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in project management; or
b. certification by a professional body, such as the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), to the level of Certified Practicing Project Director (CPPD) Certified Practicing Portfolio Executive (CPPE), in addition to a relevant degree or higher qualification issued by an Australian State or Territory tertiary education institution or an equivalent overseas that is eligible for reciprocal recognition in Australia and a minimum of ten years relevant experience in project management; or
c. have at least ten years relevant experience in project management.
Desirable:
1.Tertiary qualifications in urban planning, management or a related discipline, and experience in a social policy or planning environment are both highly desirable.
2.Demonstrated experience in the development of business cases and planning associated with complex infrastructure, in a public sector environment, is desirable.
