Role Overview:
As the IT Manager, you will lead and oversee multiple infrastructure and cloud projects across the organisation, working closely with business stakeholders to drive initiatives that enhance IT capabilities. You will manage end-to-end project lifecycles, including cloud migrations, network upgrades, and business continuity initiatives. This role is key to shaping the future of IT services and infrastructure within this organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead IT Projects : Drive key projects such as migration to Office 365, phone system migrations, network infrastructure upgrades (including WiFi 6, core switching, and server replacements), and AV system integrations. Collaboration with Stakeholders : Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure IT strategies and roadmaps align with business goals. Strategic Planning & Roadmaps : Develop and manage detailed project roadmaps, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation. Cloud & Infrastructure : Oversee the integration of Microsoft Azure HCI, cloud DR, and other key technologies to ensure a robust and scalable IT environment. Team Leadership : Manage and inspire a team of talented IT professionals, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet business requirements. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery : Drive business continuity and disaster recovery projects. Key Skills & Experience:
Strong experience in IT project management, with a focus on cloud infrastructure, disaster recovery, and migration projects. Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Office 365, and cloud disaster recovery. Experience with networking and server technologies (HP Servers, Cisco networking, etc.). Background in leading IT teams and projects, ideally within a Microsoft data center or similar environments. Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
