Job Description:
Our industrial services client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Leader to join their team for a 6-month contract with the potential for a permanent position. This Infrastructure Leader will be a crucial resource in ensuring completion on major projects across core operations, cloud services and networking.
Key Responsibilities: Leverage extensive infrastructure experience to support and lead key projects involving core operations, cloud services, and networking.Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining business continuity.Collaborate closely with IT team members, stakeholders, and vendors to align infrastructure initiatives with overall business objectives.Maintain and update comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.Conduct Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of infrastructure investments.Required Skills and Experience: Strong expertise in infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud services (preferably Azure).Ideally managed a small team across infrastructure Proficiency in virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.In-depth understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and network security.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues.Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects from inception to completion.Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
